| Born in Germany and educated in several university centers, eventually he became Ausserordenticker Professor of Physiology in the University of Berlin. But he continued to be interested in motor functions in cortical localization research. Fritsch’s contributions to the knowledge of cerebral localization with the great Eduard Hitzig (1838-1907) and even his further observations and writings alone, remain standard and classic. |
